What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in much the same way. They help websites remember things and work properly.

Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary storage. If you sign in (for example, as a site administrator), the website stores a secure sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. Without it, sign-in would not work.
  • Preference storage. Choices you make on the site - such as pausing seasonal decorations or muting their sounds - may be remembered in your browser so they stay the way you set them.
  • Third-party content. Our booking panel is provided by OpenTable, and links to social media and review sites (Instagram, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Google) may set their own cookies if you visit or interact with them. These are governed by those companies' own cookie policies.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How to control cookies

Most web browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop sign-in and some preferences from working, but the rest of the website will still be usable.
